My grandfather, William Charles McCreanney was from the Isle of Man I believe. He lived at Roose, Barrow-in-Furness when I was born and fro the rest of his life. He died around 1972. My father, Also WQilliam Charles was born Oct 19th 1917 and died in 1992 just before his 75th Birthday. He had 3 children. David McCreanny born 23 April 1941, died 6th May 2004. Myself, Kay born 9/8/1944 and a younger son Nicholas born 31/7/1951. Both Nicholasand I live in Australia and have children and grandchildren. I don't know if this helps you, but hope it may.
