I'm a direct relative of Thomas Quine 1829 from Santan, he is my great great great grandfather. He married an Ann (i don't know her maiden name) and had 6 children in the Isle of Man: John, Thomas, George, Catherine, James and Isabella. John Quine is my great great grandfather, he owned a few shoe shops (2 on Strand Street, Douglas).

I do realise this message was posted a while ago, but Thomas Quine 1829 did not leave to go to Australia, he stayed in the Isle of Man. How are you connected to the family?
