I know that William was born between 1808 and 1810. I have searched immigration and cannot find him anywhere. If indeed his last name was Gell how do I find out? I am sorry that I am asking so many questions I have never actually done this before. I'm sure that you can tell! :) Anyway please let me know if you can. Thanks so much for your patience!
