John Thomas Skillicorn (John Skillicorn - Jane Davis) was baptized at Lonan, December 26, 1823, died there, September 26, 1873, age 50, and was buried September 27, 1873. He married at Lonan, October 9, 1847, Margaret Fargher, daughter of William Fargher, farmer.

Margaret Fargher, daughter of William and Margaret (Kissack) Fargher, was baptized at Lonan, April 13, 1823, died there, March 8, 1890, age 64, and was buried March 10, 1890, “Margaret Skillicorn, The Cairn”.

John and Margaret Skillicorn lived at Gretch Veg, and later at Laxey.

i. John Skillicorn, “son of John and Margaret, Laxey Mines, was baptized April 29, 1849, died at Lonan, October 5, 1887, age 38, and was buried October 8, 1887.

ii. Jane Skillicorn, daughter of John and Margaret, near Gretch Veg, was baptized August 17, 1851.

+ iii. Margaret Skillicorn married, at Lonan, June 17, 1869, William Brew. William and Margaret Brew lived at Laxey. Her baptism was not located. Placed here based on census information and marriage record.

iv. Mary Jane Skillicorn was baptized December 29, 1857, and died there, January 26, 1878, age 26.

v. William James Skillicorn was baptized April 10, 1859.

vi. Jacob Skillicorn was baptized October 3, 1861. Jacob Skillicorn, The Cairn, age 7 years 8 months, was buried at Lonan, November 23, 1870.

vii. Eleanor Anne Skillicorn was baptized July 17, 1864, and died at Lonan, October 14, 1884, age 22, and was buried October 16, 1887.

+ viii. Sophia Skillicorn was baptised March 13, 1870. Sophia, of Orry’s Mount, daughter of John Thomas Skillicorn, miner, married at Lonan, November 28, 1901, John James Oates, farmer, age 24.
