I have found a marriage for Thomas Fisher Maddrell (@ http://freebmd.rootsweb.com ) in the September qtr of 1891 at Tiverton, Devon to possibly a Frances Elizabeth Clarke.... Perhaps he was at Tiverton then moved on to Penzance before 1898.

I wonder if there were other Manx in Penzance area .. always a possibility.
