Hi,
I was interested to see your post as I have a Catherine Cubbin in my tree- born in the Isle of Man but married in Liverpool in 1835 and living in Liverpool on the 1851 census.
A I think her father was William Cubbin and her mother Isabella (or Elizabeth) Clucas.
I will let you know if I can find a connection as my research progresses!
