Unfortunately there is no sign that the properties on the Nunnery side of the Douglas Bridge were included in the Douglas listing. The 'Extra' names to which Frances is alluding were mostly people living at the north end of the town.
As far as the other parts of Braddan go, the only "extra" listing I know of is the Tithe Book taken in the 1780's which has the names of tenants of farmland who were not the owners. Some of these were crofters who do not appear in the Manorial records. It includes the parts of Onchan which for ecclesiastical purposes were in Braddan.
For Creer readers, the Tithe of Renscault was half let by the Vicar to William Calow [perhaps my ancestor of Ballachrink]. The other half was let to the occupier John Creer and his sub-tenants who were;
1. John Cain
2. Dan. Kneen
3. John Calow
Happy to do "look-Ups" in this or it is in the MNH Library like the other material.
In order to sell a reasonable number of copies of Volume II of the Survey of Douglas, there has to be a reason for people to buy it.
Research has to be published to a certain standard in order to be cited in other academic work, including the New History.When publishing other people's research, it is usual to (a) ask permission first and then (b) publish an attribution or acknowledgement.
I am intending to publish at least part of Volume 1 on my Web Site as soon as time allows.
