Found this on google by mistake, I live on the Isle Of Man & come from a long line of callisters, not collister as there are some of them here to, but the A in callister is very important, my father norman has instilled this into my brother & I for as long as i can remember. There is also a place near the north of the Island called Ballacallister, Balla meaning place of. im sure our family must have come from that part of the Island. If i here back from you i will let you know what i find out from my father & grandfather Fred Callister who has a brother called Thomas Callister AS i have a son called thomas also.
