All I know about the Callister link to my family is that a George Callister was a brother in law to one of her family. Granny was born a Buttell around 1900.
George was wounded in World War 1. He is remembered as having a tricycle wheelchair. I believe his son was called Winston and that he also had a daughter who was in the ATS in World War 2. I know Granny came from a large family who lived in the Sulby/Leyzayre area.I still have relatives on the Island but have no info on Grannys family the Buttells or connections such as the Callisters.
