Hi Dorothy,
You can do the search through the Ontario government in Toronto.
If you have information that they require, they will send you birth, death certificates in the mail usually takes 6 weeks,I can probably make you a photocopy of the one I have pertaining to Emma.
Emma is listed as the Radcliffes grandaughter in the 1871 census, Jane being thier daughter. (My Aunts Marg and Bea, had Emma's mother's name written down, because Marg lived with Emma while attending the UofT in the thirties, and through discussions found this out)
A sidebar of note, your fathers WW1 attestation papers are now on line as is his brothers. Also Enos Christians are too...I'm waiting for John Greene's to be worked in..I still haven't seen a photo of him yet,(I'd like to get a full one showing his full height of 6'41/2" so that I can send a copy to Francis Coakley to confirm his being the tallest member of the noble nine.)
As for Henry, his death is listed as being from pneumonia in 1913,and the copy I saw in Toronto doesn't list his parents, only Emma as his next of kin.
Any luck on finding Emma's Bible? or Henry's..Perhaps Darkies brother's families have them?? They had to have existed.......The clue to Henry's brothers and so forth is (I believe) in the name of all his son's after William, who was name after Emma's father.....

Good hunting, Tim
