The only general information I have found is a list of 34 Manx soldiers who died whilst serving with the Kings Regiment, although that information should also be available through the Commonwealth Graves Commission. The book is the "Liverpool Pals" by Graham Maddocks. ISBN 0-85052-340-0.

If you like a gamble, try a visit to the PRO in Kew for a look through WO363, the so-called "Burnt Records", which are the remains of the WW1 records that were badly damaged in WW2. I spent a day going through the Boydes, without success. However, if you strike lucky, you might find a large amount of information on your ancestor.
