Are there any records on the Isle of Man which give the names of volunteers and the regiment they served in during WW1? My grandfather, originally from Liverpool but married and living in the Island at the outbreak of war, served in the Royal Army Medical Corps as a Corporal and we think he might have spent some time in Italy as he left a postcard of Naples, an Italian trumpet and mandolin and a wooden box with a Naples name. He also spent some time in an Army hospital in Kent suffering from TB.
