I was fortunate enough in August to bring my husband and daughter to the Island so they could see where my family had originated from. We happened to find the Leece museum by accident. It was wonderful in there and the gentleman that runs it could not have been any nicer. We found a photo on display of a lifeboat crew (I'm unsure of the date) as it had two of my ancestors in it I was quite interested, this gentleman quite happily scanned it for me. Now the copy is framed and hanging up in my home in Sydney, Australia. Thanks again to this gentleman.
