The Leece Museum has now moved and is on the Quay. I think its new address is simply "The Old Courthouse, Quay Road, Peel". The curator is Roy Baker. It used to be Frank Quayle, but sadly he died a couple of months ago.

The museum contains lots of pieces relating to Peel and the people who have lived there over the years. There are thousands of photos and newspaper clippings. Last time I went in, I intended to spend half an hour there, but came out 2 hours later.

I have a copy of the book on fishing boats of Peel also as a number of my ancestors were Peel fishermen.
