The number of houses around Maughold church can be counted on fingers of 1 or 2 hands at most - the location can be simply determined by reference to the piece/folio number and looking at nearby property - if they are balla'X etc then you have the road near the church - to be honest I doubt if houses near Maughold church (about 4 to 5 miles out of Ramsey) were numbered whereas those in the dense and rather crowded streets around the back of St Pauls (Church street) in Ramsey would have been.
In 1881 only church street can be found and all (I think) refer to that street that was by side of St Pauls (looking at St Pauls from market square with back to harbour it is (or was) the road that ran along the right handside of the chuch
