As far as I know, RFA stands for Royal Field Artillery and RA stands for the Royal Artillery. That almost certainly means your medals are WW1 - possibly those known as Pip, Squeak and Wilfred. Go to www.google.com and type in "Pip, Squeak and Wilfred" to be taken to a site that will show you the medals and ribbons.
