Sorry, Adrian, but I think you may be a little out of date; I understand that all those records offices have closed. If I remember correctly, there is a central records office in Hayes, Middx to which you can write. There is a fee and if the person served recently, they will only help you if you can prove you are related. However, I am not an expert on the subject and I recommend that Stan visits soc.genealogy.britain and asks his question there.
