Extracts from Lib Canc

Lib Canc, or Libri Cancellarii, containing actions, decrees, &c., of the Chancery Court (1578-1890) is a record of the petitions etc brought before the Chancercy Court and like Libri Scaccarii considered elsewhere, contains many interesting documents that are worthy of further discussion. The Manx Museum holds those dating before 1800 - later years are held by the IoM PRO though the Museum also holds microfilms of these volumes.

This set of pages is a collection of extracts along the lines of Cubons 'unpublished documents' of unrelated documents that deserve more attention.
