Note that this is almost certainly based on a copy of Daniel King's view of c.1643 and not of the actual building. When Bishop Murray arrived in 1814 he renovated the house and tower, restoring the battlements removed by previous Bishops. He also built a Georgian gothic style chapel in place of the late medieval chapel seen on the right. (see view by Ashe c. 1833) and my page on Bishopscourt.
