Hello Jo, This is just a shot in the dark really to see if my granddad and his older sister attended a school on the Isle of Man.

Is it possible please Jo to see if you can see a Gordon H Cox from 1888 to 1891 and a Maude Nellie Cox from 1882 to 1891 at any of the schools you have records for?
