I spent quite a lot of time in the summer looking at the school records in Castletown - Hope Street School/Victoria Road. I did find a number of names and many interesting comments. I sent an abridged copy for use at the Exhibition, but don't know whether it was displayed or not. However, I was told the copy would be kept in the F. H. Library. I'm intending - sometime - to write it up as an article for the F.H.S. magazine. In the meantime, if anyone has ancestors who attended the schools from about 1850ish to 1910, ask me to have a look to see if the name's there. Jo
