I looked at ancestry and see a marriage in liverpool in 1864 in the 4th quarter vol 8b page 90.
then tried the census and in 1901 they are in douglas with them is ann halsall a niece age 20 born in douglas, also ann christian a widow age 50 born in arbory.
Henry is born in barbados and is a british subject.
the census and the m i ages differ quite a bit but i think it is them,they are in everton in 1871, if you send me your email address i can have my husband scan the census sheets to you as i have printed them, it is easier that way, i hope this helps.
