My name is Thordis Nilsen and I’m from Norway. I’m doing genealogy, and a brother of one of my Great Grandfathers married a woman from Isle of Man and lived there. His name was:

Jørgen Andersen Virik (Jorgen Anderson on Isle of Man?) born 28th September 1862 Sandefjord, Norway. I have no information about his wife’s name. I do know they had a daughter named May born 20th May 1901, probably Isle of Man. May went to Norway as a teenager and was adopted here of one of her uncles (another brother of my Great Grandfather), and lived the rest of her life here. Her name in Norway was May Virik Torgersen.

I’m very interested about any information about Jorgen, May and the rest of the family, also if I have relatives at Isle of Man today, and if so – I would like to get in contact with them.
