Brilliant - thanks John. There is a lot of info there that I hadn't discovered for some reason. Now I'm thinking about it I was looking for William Richard - hadn't thought about him being known as just Richard. I am particularly looking for Margaret [Maggie] Shimmin born 1884 and thought she may have been a daughter of either Richard or James or John but it seems not. More delving to do I think.
