actually there is no specific bird called sea gull - those that act as vermin around the Island are Herring gulls (the colloquial manx name now refers to their propensity to excrete over cars etc leaving a mess which if allowed to dry can be difficult to remove - my 2nd floor windows are often used as a practice range for the stuka emulators) but there are many other varieties of gull to be seen around the island
