Thanks again. To clarify, were my ancestors, then, probably Roman Catholic? Also, through talking with the Leece Museum in Peel I've found an Edward Doran who died in "Eary Vooar" around 1834. Does anyone know where that place might be? The gentleman at the Museum translated it as "Big Moor."
