I am doing some research for some other people. They have a written family record that shows John Chatham [b. 1738 in London] met "an English lady by the name of Nancy Mann" and married her on the Isle of Man.
I can find no record of such a marriage.
The couple moved to Pennsylvania in the American colonies and had a child in 1761.
Does anyone have any idea where I could look to find when and where they were married?
