Hi, Frances!

Edwin married Elizabeth Sutton in St Thomas Church Douglas, in 1874 when they were 18 years old. They had two children one of whom died, the surviving child was Amy Florence Moor, who married my grandfather John Kirby. in 1890 Elizabeth died in Manchester, and Edwin went to lodge with a family at his original address at 13 Claremont Street Chorlton, Manchester.

I lost sight of him after that, until I found his studio in South Shields Road. Actually, I believe all the Moors, with the exception of my second cousin Frederick Moor, (who died in the Isle-of-Man, in1936 aged 90) returned at one time or another, to Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. At a later date, Lily Jane Moor, Edwin's niece carried on the photographic business in South Shields Road.
