Thanks, Sylvia - very interesting.
It looks as though they have gone back to the old PRO system where microfilm/fiche readers went to whoever got there first. And if you left the machine for more than a few minutes to go to pick up another film someone else could push your papers aside and grab it. Which meant no lunch, and fair enough. Nothing more frustrating than someone hogging a reader or computer while they swanned off doing other research!
