buried malew 18551231 age 73 - in 1851 he was on the wrong side of the bars as a debtor prisoner in castle rushen (the Island's combined gaol + madhouse) (occupation superannuated chief constable) - the reasons for this could be found in manx museum as all the prison records pre 1880's are there.
