Aren`t most of us connected to old manx families - particularly the Christians just as much descended from royalty as anyone else?

- infact those lines back to royalty contain the Mortimers, who not only were descended from the ancient welsh princes but might well have descent from the viking manx kings aswell.

- Edmund Mortimer - son of Roger Mortimer and Philippa daughter of William Montacute (King of Man) - who was the son of William Montague - who was the son of Simon de Montacute and Aufrica Connaught - who was the daughter of Olafr 2 the black - who was the son of Godred 2 Olafsson - who was the son of Olaf the dwarf/morsel/bitling - who was the son of Godred Crovan (King of Man,Isles and Dublin).Just a thought,anyone know if it holds true?
