With regard to the queries about missing people on the 1911 census, I too cannot find my grandfather's whole family of six.

I am wondering if some records are missing or maybe, as it was the first census when the details could be entered by the head of the family, perhaps some managed to avoid filling it in.

Can anybody shed any light on this?
