Thankyou for the info from the census. Ann Callow m in 1859 to Gawne was my great grandmother times 3. I hadn't got any further back because i was really concerned about getting the right Ann Callow as their's a lot of them! Ann and Thomas Gawne lived in Douglas on the 1861 census(South Quay) and had 5 children. The first Thomas died, the second William Henry Gawne is my line. The last child was born in Liverpool where they lived on the 1871 census. I can fill you in on the rest if you are interested. Which Callow do you descend from? Regards Debbie
