I know this isn't strictly geanealogy but i have just arrived back from a week on the i.o.m and it is lovely especially the Dhoon glen. The people are friendly and the drivers are polite(we were on a tandem)It is also fantastic for walking too, can't wait too come back.
I would really recommend it if you haven't been.
Didn't get much done on the family tree though, weather too nice!
