I am desparate for some help I am looking to trace the parents of William Cowley

I have him (my Gtx3 Grandfather )
living at Ballakilley clue Kirk Michael 1841 census age 30 born abt 1811
with Wife Catherine (Corkill) age 31 and one of their children Margaret Ann Cowley K/M
married Thomas Cowley Braddan my Gt Gt Grandparents
Thomas parents were Pat Cowley and Ann Colvin
I assumed (which I know one shouldn't) that he was born in Kirk Michael

I have been to my local FHS today and found the following
William Cowley of KK Braddan a minor with his fathers consent and Cath Corkill of this parish spinster were married in this church by license this 3rd day of november 1826 by me Joseph Brown Vicar
this marriage was solemnized between us William Cowley & Cath erine Cowley late Corkill X mark in the prescence of us Henry Corkill and JT? Corkill

The facts I have from a trip to the museum last year
Burial William Cowley age 46 Ballakilley Clieu
15/12/1854
I have also submitted a copy of his will to Brians site
So I am quite confident of his year of birth being 1808ish
So looking at the IGI should be simple
1808 David Cowley and Margaret Garett seems the obvious choice but they have another entry for William in 1810
the others around 1808 1809 do not provide parents names or they died at a different time
or spouses names do not match
there is an entry 1809 with parents William Cowley and Jane Teare

Bizarrely there are 3 entries 1800 1802 1812
to Pat Cowley and Ann Colvin
who were the parents of Thomas Cowley
If William turns out to be the son of PC and AC
that would make Margaret Ann & Thomas cousins?

Would someone be so kind to look at the IGI and let me know what you think
