the key is I think lodger charles clucas in 1851 - in 1841 he is living a couple of doors down with wm cowley (h/o cath cain - also in house is eleanor cain als quirk sis to thomas quirk - charles is given as s/o danl clucas + margt cain but margt also fits in with margt cubbon - too late to chk further but a complicated web of family relationships (all too typical of Peel however!)
