Thanks Len why did i not think of checking that, you have solved a riddle, looking further back John Clague (1860) isle of Man (several), my daughter will be up that way soon whitehaven that is ,i need several documents from other branches
My grandfather was Robert Faragher born 1878, he was the ofspring of William(1846) and Elizabeth(1846). The 1851 census picks up William as the son of William (1804) and Annice(1808).
