Hardy's Yard was a small courtyard off Shaw's Brow.
That area of old Douglas was demolished to build a
multi storey car park in the 1960s. It was only a few
hundred yards from the North Quay as that side of Douglas Harbour is called.Part of Douglas is in Onchan
Parish---this does not mean Onchan Village. Your family lived close by the harbour in all their addresses.
