Can anybody help me in my search for my Grandmother Kathleen or Catherine or Katherine Corrin. According to her obituary ( August 1968 ), she was born in Port Erin I.O.M.

She was 80 when she died, in Newton -Le - Willows England.

Her married name was Purcell, and her husband my Grandfather was Thomas Frederick who died in 1954 age 77 again in Newton - Le -Willows.

I have tried the IOM Cencuses for 1891, & 1901 without any luck, so I seem to have hit a wall. I would be most grateful if anyone can suggest a way forward.
