I would, like Sue, also like to express my deep sorrow at the passing of J.A. Brew, who was so helpful to me and many others in our researches. A few years back, when I contacted his home, he had just come back from hospital, and I naturally said I would phone again at a later date, so as not to disturb him; but he insisted on speaking to me, and shortly afterwards I received a very detailed and useful family tree.
