On 31st August 1839, my g g grandmother's brother, William Clague 1818-1893 married his first wife, Catherine Quine 1818-1859 in Santon.

I'm looking for the parents of Catherine Quine, and there are 2 born in Santon in 1818.

Cath Quine bap 18th Sept 1818 Santon, parents John Quine and Esther Gick is a patron submission, but is probably correct. She married Cleve Kinley. Her parents farmed at Glentraugh, and their wills are transcribed on Brian Lawson's list.

Cath Quine bap 9th July 1818 Santon, parents Thomas Quine and Margaret Moore, is also a patron submission, and I wonder if anyone has looked at the validity of this.

I believe that this family farmed at Ballafurt and that Thomas died before the 1841 census, leaving Margaret a widow in the 41, 51, 61 and 71 censuses. I think that one of their daughters, Margaret, married a Thomas Clucas.

Does anyone know this family ?

I've found these burials, and wonder if some kind person would look for MIs, please ? There are also 2 wills which could match up.
