We 'talked" about that Robert Christian on the board some time ago. It was why I asked you who his parents were as given on his death and marriage certs. You wrote that they were given as Robert Christian and Margaret Ann Boyd on the death cert. Was anything different written on any of the other certs? Was his mother's name ever given as Ann rather than Margaret?
(The other Ann was always Ann.)

The second Robert Christian you found was a little younger than the illegitimate one and lived at home with his parents. If this was your Robert, wouldn't he remember his parents' names?
Illegitimate Robert Christian lost his mother at aged 12 and lived with her Boyd relatives. He might not have known his father. Is this where you got the Bride parish from? Was it written somewhere that his father came from Bride?
