Well i was looking for the parents of
John Taggart abt 1679 and his wife Alice Looney abt 1678.
Francis suggested
Robert Looney and Alice Quiney for Alice 's parents.
On i.g.i it has John Taggart's father as John Taggart abt 1641? / mother Joney Shimmin. and that's where i had the question about the person who put this on i.g.i
You see she has this John died in 1673.
so i was confused after that.

so in my searching i came across alot of info on i.g.i (this is after looking for about 4 years with my taggart's). I was completly stuck after William Taggart abt 1779 and Isabella Christain abt 1779/80. ( their son Robert abt 1809 is my ggg grandfather).

Then i found out William's parents are William Taggart abt 1747 and Catherine Waterson abt 1748.
His parents William Taggart abt 1708 and Ellin Bridson abt 1713.
