This is nothing to do with genealogy but just thought i would mention it, while at braddan church today i came away with a book i bought, it is a pocket sized british red cross first aid manual [ no1 eighth adition ] dated 1939, very interesting book, few adverts in it, neko soap [ the ideal soap for first aid workers 1s 3d,eucryl tooth powder, 1shilling, we can still buy this at chemist for £2 40p , this book in 1939 was 1shilling and 6d but by post 1 shilling 9d, eeh i wonder how much this book would cost now,
