We are one of the areas in the thick of the bush fires (Churchill). Our daughters house was burnt to within 300mtrs, and all the bush is gone, there is a fire still raging over the ridge from them and they go under ember attack each day. We are thankful our local ABC radio is giving constant fire updates. It is like a war zone down here people we know have been killed and we have many friends who have lost everything. We have taken in people who have been evacuated and their animals. What has touched our family is the constant emails from family from overseas. Yes liz you can't believe people who would light a fire on purpose, but we just had word that there is going to be a photofit going to be released of the person who may have been involved in the Churchill fire.
