Do you know anything about your William Kelly? I have a 3X great grandfather from Patrick born about the same time as your William.

My William Married Ann Quane who was the illegitimate daughter of John Quane. William and Ann married 1813 and had, as far as I can tell, 13 children.

This family lived at Scra Volley on the Hope to Ballacraine road in the mid 1800s having been left it by Ann's father John, it was part of the Quane estate.

So far I have found out a little on Ann and William regarding their children, grandchildren and when they died and records of burial at Peel. I have never found out from what family William came from.

It's a long shot I know, but does any of this sound familiar regarding your William Kelly?

I also know that a Jane Kelly is buried with my great grandparents at Braddan. I have never found out who she is and how she is related to our family. My Jane was born in 1809 and died at 60 yrs old in 1869.
