My great aunt Louisa Spence (born 1888) was the daughter of Jon Spence and Louisa Cregeen. She was born in Douglas and her sister Olive was my grandmother. She had two other sisters, Rhoda and the other name escapes me!

I gather that whoever she married, and I don't know who it was, 'disappeared' on a cruise. Whether he boarded or not is another matter but he took a holiday alone and never returned. G Aunt Louie was very tight lipped about it just saying he had 'fallen overboard'. Naturally I would to more about this. Can anyone help me find out who Louie (Louisa) Spence married - around 1910? and if anyone knows what might have happened to him? (well, tall order I know!)

I don't even know if they had children ... 2nd cousins of mine I suppose?
