Hello Listers

My Thomas Cowin and Margaret Karran married at Lonan in 1806 and had seven children at Lonan and at least two sons ventured to Australia: John b1815 and wife Margaret Skillicorn (dau of John Skillicorn, farmer of Lonan) and Philip b1809 and wife Margaret Garrett (dau of William Garrett, farmer of Lonan).

Thought to have remained behind were: Thomas b1806 (married Isabella Kermode?), Jane b1817, William b1818 (married Ann Garrett?) and James b1821 (married Elizabeth?).

If anyone can provide information on any of these individuals or families (especially those who remained at home), I would be very appreciative. I am happy to provide information on the Cowins and Garretts that went Downunder. Their story is an interesting one!
