This is one step near to my brick wall in Canada on the trail of Nora SPURR (mother born in IOM) who lived and died in Canada. In 1950 her last address was staying at her cousin – Mrs. Fairhurst- at 88 Charles Ave south Porcupine Ont. Am hoping this is the same family. The Corkhill family are also connected to one – Dora Rackham- who was born on the IOM, but once again livid with a Corkhill family. Corkhill seems to crop up quite a lot in this part of our research. One day I might find all the answers. It isn’t all fun?
