hi sylvia. thank you for your msg. i too found a william cojeen born 1847 in Lonan, but i suspect he's the wrong one because he seems tohave been a general dealer and married with a four-year-old son, while my guy was, as a far as i know, unmarried and a miner. all we really know about him was that he went to cornwall in the early 1880s, married my great grandmother martha jennings, and they went to the us and later to johannesburg, where he died. the only official trace of him i can find is that his estate was registered with the master of the supreme court in pretoria, south africa, after his death.
